In-Home Caregiver / Home Care Aide (HCA) – Flexible Shifts

CareWorks Health Services is immediately hiring registered Home Care Aides (HCA), Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Home Health Aides (HHAs) for full-time and part-time opportunities across Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Westminster, and surrounding Orange County communities.

Caregiver Compensation & Perks:

• Competitive Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Job Responsibilities:

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide personalized non-medical care to support local seniors in staying safe, comfortable, and independent at home:

• Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with daily hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care.
• Mobility & Safe Transfers: Assist with walking, bed-to-chair transfers, positioning, and fall prevention.
• Companionship: Provide friendly conversation, social engagement, and emotional support.
• Homemaking: Assist with routine meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders.
• Transportation (Optional): Assist clients with doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and local errands (if driver eligible).

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements:

• State Registration (MANDATORY): Must hold an active California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration / PER ID prior to interview.
• Caregiving Experience: Minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience (includes professional home care, facility experience, or dedicated personal care for a family member).
• Core Attributes: Dependable, compassionate, patient, and punctual.
• Basic Requirements: 21 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Driver Status (Preferred): Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance preferred for client transportation shifts.
