Job Description

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide in-home assistance and support to our clients in Ida, MI. This role involves helping clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring to ensure client safety.
• Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Monitor clients’ well-being and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their social interaction.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
• Must pass background checks.
