Home Building Claims Officer – RAA – Adelaide (Part time)

About the role

  • Manage end-to-end Home Building claims (Direct to Builder), ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality outcomes while delivering a positive customer experience
  • Assess claims by interpreting policy coverage, evaluating quotes and reports, determining liability and settlements, and escalating complex or high-value cases where required
  • Deliver strong member service by responding to enquiries, handling sensitive situations with care, and ensuring compliance with privacy, vulnerability, and service standards
  • Maintain high quality and compliance standards by adhering to policies, regulatory obligations, procedures, and performance KPIs, while continuously improving capability through feedback and training
  • Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders, supporting workload demands, contributing to a positive team culture, and upholding risk, safety, and operational responsibilities

About you

  • Experience in claims, contact centre, or similar high-volume, customer-focused environments, with the ability to manage enquiries, resolve issues, and operate effectively within structured processes
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability, using multiple data points and experience to form sound recommendations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in outputs
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
