Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

· Coordinate work rotation and break schedules for department team members

· Ensure equipment is in safe and working order at all times including any necessary troubleshooting

· Process necessary paperwork

· Drive quality, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement within the department

· Promote 5S and Lean to the fullest extent

· Hold daily team meetings at the start of shift in absence of supervisor

· Complete a daily written and verbal handoff with counterpart

· Assist in GEMBA walks in Department Manager’s absence

· Other management tasks in Department Manager’s absence

· Complete charts and MDI boards when needed

· Understand and drive flow monitor

· Conduct daily Standard Work audits with the supervisor

· All other duties as assigned by Department Manager

Position Requirements

· Complete all LMS training as assigned

· All team members are expected to adhere to VT’s Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.

· All team members are expected to follow the Code of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries.
