The Holistic Experience Transformation Scientist plays a key role in developing and optimizing consumer health products across Haleon's Wellness portfolio, with a focus on Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements (VMS) and Digestive Health.
This role is similar to an Application Technologist, bridging the gap between scientific discovery and product application by translating technical insights into practical, consumer-focused solutions. Working closely with formulation, product development, and consumer science teams, you will help optimize product experiences through ingredient selection, taste modulation, flavor optimization, product formats, and hands-on experimentation.
This is a highly laboratory-based role with significant time spent at the bench designing and conducting experiments, evaluating prototype formulations, and identifying opportunities to improve taste, mouthfeel, and overall product acceptance. Areas of focus may include sweeteners, acids, flavor systems, bitterness suppression, and other taste-modifying technologies that enhance the consumer experience.
The ideal candidate is scientifically curious, enjoys hands-on laboratory work, and is excited to learn how formulation and sensory principles can be applied to create superior consumer health products. Previous experience in sensory science is not required; on-the-job training and mentorship will be provided for candidates with strong scientific fundamentals and a willingness to learn.

The salary range for this role is: $90,646 - $124,638 plus an 8% target bonus.
