Primary Objective:

YUZU is actively seeking a Corporate & Commercial Legal Manager in Malaysia who is readily available to undertake upcoming client assignments. We welcome your interest and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support on corporate matters, including amongst others, governance, compliance, and commercial contracts.
• Review, draft, and negotiate various agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting operations and recommend actions.
  
• Develop internal policies, procedures, and training for compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with external advisors on specialist areas.
• Handle regulatory agency relationships and responses.
  
• Conduct internal investigations and ensure corrective actions.
• Stay updated on legal and industry trends through seminars and events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• 3-5 years of Corporate Legal experience, ideally in law firms or professional services in Malaysia.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong in both English and Chinese languages.
