Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced diesel fitter that reports to the mobile maintenance supervisor, superintendent and mobile maintenance team. This role incorporates working as part of a team, performing planned and non-planned maintenance, diagnosing and repairing all mobile equipment to support the Ravenswood Gold Mine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Carry out safe preventative maintenance on the mobile maintenance fleet.

• Completion of safety and maintenance paperwork and filing.

• Completion of Pronto maintenance system inputs.

• Completion of defect forms and parts identification.

• Completion of safe field repairs.

• Always carry out quality works.

• Always keep your work area clean and safe.

• Maintain good verbal communication with all mobile maintenance team members.

ABOUT YOU

• Mobile Maintenance Mining Experience.

• Self-managing with strong decision-making skills.

• Experience with maintenance processes and methodology.

• Team focused with strong communication and organisational skills.

• Experience working with the below machinery:

• Hitachi Excavators
• Hitachi or Komatsu Electric Haul Trucks
• CAT Haul Truck
• CAT Service Truck and Water Cart

• Ability to set priorities to ensure objectives are met, problem solve, multi-task and work in a rapidly changing environment.

• Manual C Class driver’s licence.

• Relevant Trade Qualification (Diesel Heavy Vehicle Fitter).

• Confined Space and Working at Heights

• High-Risk Tickets will be well regarded.

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Pronto Maintenance Software
