HIU Engineer

Position: HIU Engineer
Location: London (covering multiple sites)
Salary: £38,000- £45,000 DOE + Benefits
Hours: Monday Friday, 8am5pm (occasional overtime/call-out on rota basis)

We are seeking an experienced HIU Engineer to join a specialist mechanical and commercial gas engineering business that delivers servicing and maintenance to plant rooms, energy centres, and high-rise developments. This is a permanent position within a company that values engineer development, worklife balance, and quality over speed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair Heat Interface Units across residential and commercial high-rise properties.

• Operate within plant rooms and energy centres, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.

• Liaise with residents, clients, and site teams with a professional, client-facing approach.

• Support colleagues and work collaboratively on larger, more complex jobs.

• Complete job sheets and service records accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HIU servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding.

• Strong plant room knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Full UK driving licence.
