Job Description

SAR High School is a mission-driven, co-educational, modern Orthodox Jewish high school committed to student-centered learning in a challenging and supportive environment.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, SAR High School is seeking a P/T or F/T History teacher.
Teaching responsibilities include: Two to Four sections of History-- 9th and 10th grades, integrated World Jewish History with a focus on historiography, helping students analyze text, formulate historical arguments and write thesis driven essays. There is also the potential for 11th grade American history based on the candidate's background.
Our department is extremely collaborative and we are looking for a member of the team to contribute new ideas as well as to help enrich student life at SAR through co-curricular, Social Studies related activities.
The salary is $45-90,000, commensurate with experience and depending on whether the position is part-time or full-time.
