Course Description: European history from the late Middle Ages to the end of the Napoleonic Wars, emphasing the major political, cultural, economic and social changes that created early modern Europe.

Hours of Work: Thursdays, 4:00-7:00

Sessional Dates of Appointment September 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026

Salary $54.27 per hour

Qualifications Applicants should have a completed PhD or (for non-U. of T. graduate students) equivalent, with major field in the relevant topic area. Demonstrated effectiveness as a teaching assistant, academic qualifications in the subject, ability to introduce students to a diverse range of approaches, and suitability for the position.

of Duties Duties may include the teaching of small tutorial sections, marking of assignments, holding scheduled office hours and invigilation of exams; other duties as determined by the supervisor.
