We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee and coordinate welding activities at our jobsite in Brownsville, TX. The ideal candidate will lead a team of welders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate welding operations on-site, managing a team of welders.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
-Oversee welding procedures, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project specifications.
-Conduct inspections and quality checks on welded components.
-Train and mentor welding staff, providing guidance on techniques and best practices.
-Coordinate with project managers to schedule work assignments and meet project deadlines.
-Maintain inventory of welding supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement as needed.
-Troubleshoot issues and provide technical expertise to resolve welding-related problems.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in welding and in a supervisory or managerial role.
-Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
-Strong knowledge of safety protocols and welding standards.
-Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
-Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
