Midland Electricians: Texas Data Centers Are Hiring

Job sites are at data center projects across Texas. This is travel/rotation work, not a Midland position.

Tarpon Specialty Services is recruiting industrial electricians from Midland, Big Spring, Stanton, Greenwood, Garden City and the Midland side of the Permian Basin for critical-power construction at Texas data centers. If you have run conduit and terminated gear at plants, gas processing facilities, refineries, compressor stations or pipeline sites, you already have the skill set these projects need. Data center experience is a bonus, not a requirement for every position.

Positions

• Journeyman Electricians

Typical Assignments

• Rigid, IMC, EMT and PVC conduit – bending and installation
• Cable tray, raceway, wire and cable pulls, terminations
• Switchgear, electrical distribution, transformers, panels
• Generator and UPS / backup-power systems
• Grounding and bonding
• Motor controls, control wiring, low-voltage and fiber
• Reading one-lines, prints and electrical drawings
• Testing, commissioning and startup

Must Have

• Current Texas electrical license or registration (TDLR)
• Proven industrial or commercial electrical construction experience
• Ability to pass project hiring and site requirements
• Willing to travel, work overtime and run extended schedules
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Safety-minded, quality-focused craftsmanship
