We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe - HAAS Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, with expertise in operating and programming HAAS CNC lathes. You will be responsible for producing high-quality components, adhering to tight tolerances, and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program HAAS CNC lathes to produce precision parts based on blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
- Work with tight tolerances to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
- Perform setup, tooling changes, and offsets on CNC machines.
- Conduct quality checks using measurement tools such as clipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure deadlines and production goals are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating and programming CNC lathes, specifically HAAS machines.
- Proficiency in working with tight tolerances and complex geometries.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CNC controls.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with high precision work.
