Job Description

Care Staff - Memory Care Experience Preferred

Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking compassionate and dedicated care staff to join our team of healthcare professionals. We are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents, especially those with memory care needs. We are willing to train the right candidate, and those with med tech certification or experience working with dementia residents will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personalized care and assistance to residents, including activities of daily living

- Support residents with memory care needs, ensuring their safety and comfort

- Assist with medication management under supervision

- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and progress

- Foster a respectful, engaging, and supportive environment

- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality resident care

- Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends, to ensure continuous coverage

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in memory care or working with dementia residents is preferred

- Med tech certification is a plus

- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends

- Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols

- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
