Job Description

The Data Management Analyst is responsible for handling day-to-day policy administration and servicing transactions for Hong Kong individual insurance policies, including data processing, case logging, case review, and other policy servicing activities. The role focuses on operational case processing rather than data analytics.

The position works closely with SMEs, QA colleagues, team members, and business partners to ensure accurate and timely case processing in accordance with established procedures and service standards. The role may also support reporting, process improvement initiatives, ad hoc assignments, and new team members with day-to-day operational matters as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Process assigned cases in accordance with established SOPs, relevant policies, and operational procedures.
  • Meet the required quality, productivity, and turnaround time standards while ensuring data accuracy timely completeness.
  • Follow up on cases identified by SMEs or business partners and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify unusual, complex, or high-risk cases and escalate them to the appropriate parties.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, QA colleagues, business partners, and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Support reporting, process improvement initiatives, and other operational or ad hoc assignments as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and follow established SOPs, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Good English reading and writing skills for business purposes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Good risk awareness and the ability to identify and escalate potential issues appropriately.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet required turnaround times.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good spoken English.
  • Ability to understand spoken Cantonese.
  • Previous experience in insurance operations, policy administration, financial services operations, or a similar processing role.
