Opportunity
Would you like to start a new career at Hinkley Point C and earn £35,000+ per year as a General Labourer? This programme provides the essential training to prepare you for site work and help you take the first step into the Engineering Construction Industry.
On successful completion of an HPC recognised ‘pre-employment’ training programme (HSO Bronze), the members of the MEH Joint Venture (part of the MEH Alliance) will offer you an interview when a role becomes available for a potential General Labourer role at HPC.

The Hinkley Support Operative (HSO) Bronze programme prepares you for entry-level General Labourer roles at HPC. It also opens up potential pathways into apprenticeships and further training within the engineering construction sector.

About Hinkley Point C
Hinkley Point C is the UK’s first new nuclear power station in over 20 years, supplying low-carbon electricity to 6 million homes. The project will create 25,000 jobs and up to 1,000 apprenticeships, with a long-term commitment to developing new entrants into the industry.
