Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You

Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will be responsible for ensuring that the health club is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for guests. You will greet and assist guests with information about the facilities, handle check-ins, and ensure the smooth flow of guests through the fitness and wellness areas. You will ensure that the health club is equipped with fresh towels, properly maintained equipment, and all amenities are in working order. As a Health Club Attendant / Health Club Receptionist, you’re not just fulfilling the daily health club operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Guest Service Excellence: Provide a warm welcome, assist with inquiries, and ensure guest satisfaction across all health club touchpoints.
  • Operational Support: Maintain cleanliness and organization of fitness areas, locker rooms, and wellness spaces; replenish amenities and supplies.
  • Reception & Administration: Manage guest check-ins, bookings for classes and services, and respond to inquiries at the reception desk.
  • Team Support: Assist the Health Club Manager in supervising operations and stepping into staff roles as needed to maintain service continuity.
  • Training & Supervision: Help train and schedule team members across fitness, spa, and guest service roles.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations; report equipment issues or safety concerns.
  • Business Support: Assist with marketing, merchandising, programming, inventory, and tracking performance to drive engagement and efficiency.

At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:

A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality. Acting with Integrity and always doing the right thing. Inspiring others through Leadership. A belief that Teamwork drives the best outcomes. A sense of Ownership and accountability. And a focus on the Now, bringing urgency and discipline to every moment, knowing it can make a lasting impact.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in fitness or hospitality
  • Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and a guest-focused attitude
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus

  • Team-oriented with a proactive and professional approach
  • Native Level Japanese
