Software Engineering Senior Analyst:At 5 years of experience, a Node.js developer with Python expertise typically transitions into aSenior Backend Engineeror Technical Leadrole. This level of seniority requires shifting focus from simply writing code to architecting complex, scalable systems and mentoring teams. Core Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend systems and microservices using both Node.js and Python.
• API Leadership: Leading the design, versioning, and integration of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• System Optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing database queries, and ensuring high system availability.
• Cloud & DevOps: Managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automating deployments through CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Conducting technical code reviews, defining engineering best practices, and mentoring junior developers to foster professional growth.

Required Technical Skills

BackendNode.js(Express, NestJS), Python(FastAPI, Django, Flask)

DatabasesSQL(PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL(MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis)

Cloud/InfrastructureAWS Core (Lambda, S3, EC2), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform Testing/QualityPyUnit, Mocha/Chai, TDD/BDD practices

Qualifications

• Experience 5+ years in backend or full-stack software development.
• Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Scienceor a related technical field.
• Soft Skills Strong analytical problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
