Job Title:

HIH - Software Engineering Manager

Position Overview:

CuraScript SD is seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP S/4HANA Manager to join its Hyderabad technology team. The Manager will lead a team of Configuration and Engineering subject matter experts responsible for project execution, enhancement implementation, and incident resolution

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, a strong background in end-to-end SAP delivery practices—from functional specification creation through development and deployment—and strong knowledge of supply chain and distribution management. The role requires an understanding of the relationships among SAP S/4HANA Cloud modules, including OTC, Vistex, Supply Chain, SD, EWM, MM, and FICO.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for business stakeholders.
• Partner with technical product owners to estimate cost and effort for assigned enhancement and project tasks.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to align solutions with the delivery roadmap.
• Understand the interaction among business operations, business processes, and supported applications.
• Partner with Program Governance and Delivery teams to prioritize demand across workstreams.
• Oversee preparation of techno-functional design documentation covering process flows and business, functional, non-functional, security, and solution requirements.
• Align with reporting and analytics teams on reporting requirements.
• Ensure delivery activities comply with data governance policies.
• Oversee cross-functional requirements and ensure potential impacts are identified and evaluated.
• Monitor, review, and approve change-control activities, including transports, ChaRM, and validation documentation.
• Support audit reviews of system configuration and conformance with organizational standards.
• Assign and prioritize project and enhancement tasks, deploying available team members to meet deadlines and business priorities.

Leadership

• Adopt and manage established analysis methodologies, including training, onboarding, playbooks, templates, guidelines, checklists, and standards.
• Prepare and conduct employee performance evaluations, make hiring decisions, and carry out supervisory responsibilities.
• Proactively guide, coach, recognize, and address employee performance and conduct matters.
• Ensure clarity of priorities and goals across the functional area.
• Define team and individual objectives, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes.
• Establish employee development plans that support professional growth and organizational needs.

Overall Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 12+ years of experience managing SAP solutions.
• 7+ years of people and team management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA solutions.

Additional Qualifications

• Big Four consulting manager experience preferred.
• Master of Business Administration preferred.
• Experience in supply chain management, wholesale pharmaceutical distribution, or life sciences preferred.
• Prior SAP implementation or upgrade experience and knowledge of leading practices preferred.
• CBAP certification preferred.
• Supply chain certification, such as APICS or SCOR, preferred.

Work Hours:

Standard work hours are 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST, with flexibility required to support US Eastern Time business hours as needed.
