Bridge/Structures Project Manager | Highway/DOT | Metro Atlanta, GA

Manage highway and DOT bridge, retaining-wall, and related structures work from estimating and procurement through construction. You’ll coordinate with project leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams while supporting both preconstruction and project execution.

• Full-time, on-site role in Metro Atlanta with jobsite visits as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and manual methods.
• Build estimate packages and support bid development in HeavyBid.
• Prepare bid documents and obtain subcontractor, vendor, and supplier pricing.
• Review drawings, profiles, cross sections, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Verify completed quantities and track project progress.
• Coordinate project needs with leadership, superintendents, and field teams.
• Help resolve construction, scope, procurement, and coordination issues.
• Visit jobsites as needed to verify progress and support execution.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of contractor-side highway, DOT, or heavy civil structures experience.
• Direct bridge and retaining-wall construction experience.
• Experience with takeoffs, bid packages, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and quantity tracking.
• State DOT project experience, preferably in Georgia.
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction software experience preferred.
• HeavyBid experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organization, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
