An employee who receives a recruitment bonus must remain with the department for 12 calendar months after the date of receiving the recruitment bonus payment.

Annual Salary Ranges
Transportation Maintenance Tech I (A16): $40,918- $61,130
Transportation Maintenance Tech II (A17): $42,976- $64,469
Transportation Maintenance Tech III (A18): $45,521- $71,055
This position is for a Transportation Maintenance Tech I, II or III, depending on business needs and applicant qualifications. Performs routine transportation operations or maintenance support work such as: roadway maintenance and repair; light and heavy equipment operation; preventive and minor maintenance on equipment; traffic control; and helping the public during emergency situations. Work requires contact with private entities. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.

Transportation Maintenance Tech III Must have a Commercial Class "A" Driver's License with an "N" Endorsement or have obtained a CDL "A” License from date of application
