Exempt; full-time; 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; full-benefits; partial teleworking schedule may be available in accordance with Division policies.
This position oversees the transportation engineering section and manages the County’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for roads, bridges, highways, and other transportation projects. Responsibilities include project planning, interagency coordination, fiscal reporting, staff supervision, and support for training and certification. Supervision is given to professional and support staff; supervision is received from the Department Head, Engineering and Construction Management.
NOTE: The upper pay range reflects possible wage rates for internal County transfers and promotions, which are calculated per County policy.

Substitutions for the above-listed required education and experience are an Associate’s Degree with 9 years work experience as described above which must include 3 years of experience supervising or managing staff; or a Master’s Degree with 5 years work experience as described above which must include 3 years of work experience supervising or managing staff.
