This is a pool posting in anticipation of vacancies for the 2027-2028 school year.

PROGRAM SUMMARY: The Highline TEACH (Targeted Educator Advanced Candidate Hiring) Program, formerly known as Cadre Early Hiring, is designed to allow early contracts to be extended to certificated staff in key hard-to-fill areas for the following school year. Contracts are offered in spring, allowing TEACH educators the summer to onboard and familiarize themselves with the district. We are hiring for multiple positions.

TEACH hires are those that we believe are aligned to Our Promise and Strategic Plan, which will manifest itself in student achievement in service to our community, families, and students. Successful TEACH Hires are those whom we believe could be successfully placed across 80% of our district, in a variety of schools, programs and communities. Placement of 27/28 TEACH Cohort will occur in spring when specific vacancies have been identified.

This post will be reviewed on a routine basis, and selected candidates will be invited for TEACH interviews, based on our district's projected hiring needs. Those who are not extended interviews or contracts may still be competitive candidates for specific site or program vacancies.

TEACH Hiring Timeline:

October - Application Opens

January - Initial Screening Begins

February-April - Interviews/ Ongoing Screening

Early May - Cadre Placement
