Job Description

Pay Scale: £27,561 - £31,869 pro rata 45 weeks per year 28.75 hours per week (grade based on experience)

Required from: - 1st September 2026

We are looking for an HLTA to join our amazing team of support staff. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering phonics and supporting early reading and in addition, the appointed person will be covering PPA across the school in the afternoons.

The post would suit an experienced person in a support role with appropriate qualifications and/or experience, or a teacher wishing to move into a support role. Read, Write, Inc, and in covering teachers PPA would be considered an advantage.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working, creative practitioner, able to both care for and support our wonderful children. Applicants must have good personal literacy skills, and the ability to develop positive learning attitudes with children. You will also need to be a good team player who is willing to go the extra mile for our children.
