• Instruction for our Fall Semester begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on December 20, 2026 – Final Course Grades are due on December 27, 2026

Course: Higher Geometry

This course provides an axiomatic approach to geometry, including analysis of the parallel postulate and an introduction to non-Euclidean models. Other topics include planar transformations and isometry groups, analytic geometry, and the history of geometry.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Preferred: PhD inMathematics OR
  • Statistics OR
  • Closely related field with high school or post-secondary teaching experience
• Minimum: Master’sin Mathematics OR
  • Statistics OR
  • Closely related field which requires calculus or above, or statistics coursework, such as Physics and Engineering
• Candidates with a Master's degree in any discipline and 3-5 years of experience teaching high school or post-secondary applied mathematics may also be considered
