Job Description

We are seeking experienced High Volume Onboarding Specialists to support professional customers through the initial setup and adoption of a software platform. This role serves as a primary point of contact during the post-purchase onboarding process and is responsible for creating a smooth, positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate has experience with customer onboarding, software implementation, account setup, data migration, and high-volume customer support. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide new customers through the onboarding process from initial setup through successful software adoption.
• Assist customers with software installation, configuration, and account creation.
• Support the collection and upload of required account documentation.
• Assist customers with migrating data from previous software platforms.
• Provide clear instructions, resources, and documentation throughout the onboarding process.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during the initial post-purchase phase.
• Communicate with customers through phone, email, and web-based support tools.
• Troubleshoot onboarding and setup issues and coordinate escalations when necessary.
• Manage multiple customer onboarding cases simultaneously in a high-volume environment.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, onboarding progress, and outstanding requirements.
• Deliver a positive customer experience designed to support successful adoption and long-term retention.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer onboarding, client services, implementation, customer success, software support, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting customers with software setup, implementation, or installation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage a high volume of customers and competing priorities.
• Comfortable providing customer support through phone, email, and web-based tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accounting, tax, payroll, financial, or other business software.
• Experience supporting data migrations between software platforms.
• Familiarity with electronic filing documentation or similar customer verification processes.
• Experience working in a high-volume or seasonal customer onboarding environment.

Contract Details

This is a 4-month remote contract opportunity with three available positions. Candidates should be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.
