Join a premier long-term contract supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)—the intelligence community’s leader in providing geospatial intelligence to defend national security. Our professionals deliver the backbone of NGA’s IT and cybersecurity infrastructure worldwide. From designing and implementing transport solutions to securing global data, we enable NGA’s mission to deliver timely, relevant, and accurate intelligence where and when it matters most.
We’re seeking a High Speed Guard (HSG) Engineer with the expertise, curiosity, and drive to help secure some of the nation’s most critical information systems.
As an HSG Engineer, you’ll be the technical authority behind the implementation, configuration, and sustainment of Everfox (formerly Forcepoint) High Speed Guards—ensuring secure data flow across multiple networks and security domains. You’ll collaborate closely with mission stakeholders, system architects, and cybersecurity professionals to design, deploy, and troubleshoot innovative cross-domain security solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Partnering with mission stakeholders to collect requirements and translate them into secure, efficient implementation plans.
Leading and participating in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to design, whiteboard, and refine technical solutions.
Coordinating with technical and project management teams to define and execute implementation timelines.
Responding to and resolving system outages, performance issues, and technical queries in a timely, mission-focused manner.
Installing and maintaining firmware updates on critical infrastructure hardware (DellEMC, SANs, switches, etc.).
Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting Everfox/Forcepoint High Speed Guard systems for peak performance.
Engineering, designing, and deploying custom rulesets for secure data transfers across classified networks.
Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Polygraph (post-hire requirement).
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 6+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC).
Proven hands-on experience with Everfox (Forcepoint) High Speed Guards (HSGs)—implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and operational support in classified environments.
Background in systems engineering and total systems lifecycle development (design through sustainment).
Proficiency with Linux operating systems, general OS security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security fundamentals.
If you’re ready to engineer cutting-edge cyber solutions and safeguard national intelligence systems, apply today to become part of the D2 mission at NGA
