North Allegheny School District seeks candidates to fill a High School Social Studies Long-Term Substitute Teacher position at North Allegheny Senior School, effective during the first semester, August 13, 2026 through January 11, 2027.
The teacher will establish a program and a class environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth by providing rich and engaging experiences. The teacher will establish effective rapport with students, motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for learning, in accordance with each student's ability, and creates and maintains good relationships with parents and other staff members.
Bachelor's Degree and Applicable Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (Social Studies 7-12) are required.
