Summary: This position reports to and is evaluated by the high school principal and provides administrative support for the division.
Required Professional Qualities
- Bachelor's degree or related education preparation
- Experience as a receptionist

Essential Job Functions
Spiritual Leadership
- Model victorious Christian living to students and families (Philippians 2:1-5)
- Model and help students to resolve conflict biblically (Matthew 18:15-17)
- Pray for students, parents, staff, and the entire OCS community

Administrative
- Adheres to all policies and procedures governing the operation of the school
- Respect professional ethics that require confidentiality concerning the sharing of information about children, parents, or staff
- Attends and arrives punctually to scheduled devotional, committee, and faculty meetings
- Maintains professional dress and appearance as specified in the Employee Handbook
- Represents the school favorably and professionally to its constituency
Supportive Leadership
- Provides general administrative support for the high school principal
- Receives visitors to the high school office
- Assists with information for teachers and students
- Monitors and records attendance and communicates with parents to confirm absenteeism and attendance status
- Verifies the accuracy of the classroom attendance record
- Addresses the orderliness and decorum of the high school teacher's workroom/lounge
- Oversees the hygiene and sanitary environment of the high school teacher workroom/lounge
- Manages the supplies (coffee, paper plates, disposable cups, napkins, plastic utensils, and other items) associated with the workroom/lounge.
- Assigns KP for students and notifies them accordingly
- Records detention and/or disciplinary incidents; notifies parents when applicable
- Other duties as assigned by the principal
Additional Duties or Responsibilities
- Support the school's broader program by attending extracurricular activities when possible. (Back to School Worship night, Big Bash, school trips, Saints 5K, Drama production, Athletic Events, Band performances, Fine Arts night, Carnivals, etc.)
- Treats all school-owned technology (hardware and software) with respect, care, professionalism, and in accordance with the Technology Use Agreement
