
As a Manufacturing JET Student, you will be trained in installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, metals and composite parts. This work-based learning program will provide you with hands-on experience and exposure to the general aviation manufacturing environment. It will aid your learning experiences and enhance your aviation knowledge as a student interested in manufacturing and aviation careers. You will get exposure to a wide variety of real-world work situations and applications. You will play an integral role creating and constructing the world's best-selling general aviation aircraft.
This work based-learning program will start January 2026
Job Duties: (vary depending on location of work-based learning)
• Inspecting and installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and composite parts.
• Following engineering drawings and specifications to install, connect, or bond aircraft parts using adhesives, rivets, or threaded fasteners.
• Ensures fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements.
• Preparing and using fixtures to aid in locating, bonding, or drilling aircraft parts.
• Routing wire harnesses in accordance with specifications.
• Work with adhesives, bonding aircraft parts
