Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused High Reach Operator to join our client's warehouse team. This is a hands-on warehouse position responsible for picking, locating, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility. The successful candidate will operate high-reach and sit-down forklifts, use RF scanners to accurately track inventory, and assist with shipping, receiving, and general material-handling activities.

This position requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, paying close attention to inventory accuracy, and safely operating equipment around racking systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-reach and sit-down forklifts to safely move, locate, pick, stage, load, unload, and replenish materials.
• Pick and locate materials according to work orders, pick lists, and production requirements.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and material movement.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and lot numbers for accuracy.
• Stack, wrap, secure, and organize materials properly.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including inspecting incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and other warehouse documentation accurately.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Safely move materials throughout the warehouse, including working in elevated racking systems.
• Perform daily forklift and equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and proper forklift operating practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: Previous high-reach forklift operating experience.
• Required: Previous sit-down forklift experience.
• Required: Ability to safely operate forklifts in a warehouse/racking environment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Previous warehouse, picking, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and verify part numbers, quantities, and other inventory information.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work safely at elevated heights and around warehouse racking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong commitment to workplace safety.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:30PM-11PM

Pay: $20-22/hr w/ 0.50 shift diff
