We are seeking a High Performance Support Coordinator to support and enhance the experience of more than 300 high-performing student-athletes at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. This role plays an important part in helping students balance academic success with excellence in their chosen sporting pursuits, ensuring they have access to the support, resources and connections needed to thrive.
Working within the Performance Sport team, you will coordinate key aspects of the University's High Performance Programme, supporting student-athletes throughout their academic and sporting journeys. You will work closely with students, academic staff, sporting organisations and support services to provide tailored guidance, advocate for student needs and deliver programmes that foster development, wellbeing and success.

This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week). The salary range for this role is $64,000 to $70,000, negotiable depending on skills and experience.

You are passionate and enthusiastic about supporting student success and have a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by high-performing student-athletes. You enjoy building relationships, working collaboratively and helping individuals achieve their goals across multiple aspects of their lives.
You are highly organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail. A confident communicator, you are comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders and enjoy creating programmes and initiatives that have a positive impact on student wellbeing, engagement and achievement. Experience working within the tertiary education or performance sport environment will help you quickly add value in this role.
