Sew all production covers, arm pillows, back pillows, seat cushions, apex, stuffing pieces, leather pieces, cloth pieces, and slipcovers. This provides the internal customers with products to work the production schedule. This process is produced on industrial sewing machines. The end result is a complete piece of furniture.
Key Responsibilities
Sew different materials: leather, vinyl, mohair. velvet, suede. cloth, etc.
Experience in single needle, double needle, cushion sew, flatwork sew, boxing, serger and boarders.
Ability to sew waterfalls skirts and dressmakers.
Ability to perform different types of stitching: top stitch, and blind stitch.
Read production tickets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures in the manufacturing environment.
High level of quality in work performance.
