High B-Level Automotive Technician | Up to $50 Flat Rate

Location: Gonzales, LA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-5:00 PM | No Weekends

Pay Rate: $40-$50 per flagged hour

Pay Type: Flat Rate

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Introduction

We are seeking a High B-Level Automotive Technician for a family-oriented independent repair shop in Gonzales, LA. This role offers $40-$50 per flagged hour, weekly pay, a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends. The shop primarily services Domestic and Asian vehicles and provides a consistent workflow with opportunities for continued training and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Domestic and Asian vehicles
• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns and identify root causes
• Perform mechanical and diagnostic repairs accurately and efficiently
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) with clear documentation
• Prepare repair estimates based on inspection and diagnostic findings
• Communicate repair findings clearly with the shop team
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Contribute to an efficient, team-oriented shop workflow

Qualifications

• High B-Level automotive repair experience
• Solid automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• 5+ years professional automotive repair experience
• Ability to perform mechanical repairs independently
• Experience completing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
• Ability to prepare repair estimates
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach
• Willingness to continue training and developing technical skills
