We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Hide Plant Fitter to join our Maintenance team at our Dinmore Processing Facility. About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment throughout the Hide Plant to ensure maximum plant reliability and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance on Hide Plant equipment
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment
• Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding, fabrication and installation of plant equipment
• Working collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with JBS policies and procedures.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Experience working in heavy industrial, manufacturing, food processing, or similar environments
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Flexible attitude with a willingness to participate in overtime and on-call work when required
