Yamhill County has one regular full-time position for an HHS Manager in our Family & Youth Division. We are seeking an innovative and dynamic manager to lead a fast-paced integrated mental health and addictions program for children and adolescents. Critical elements are program development, planning and monitoring outcomes, and recruiting, training, and supervising staff. The annual budget for the division is $9.9 million with another $750,000 in provider contracts and approximately 42 full-time equivalent staff.

The position requires a master's degree or advanced training and five or more years of relevant experience with progressive responsibilities in program administration or supervision. Graduate-level coursework and training may be substituted for up to two years’ experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience promoting family partnerships, knowledge of mental health promotion and trauma-informed care, and clinical licensure or alcohol and drug certification (CADC) eligible to provide clinical supervision.
Will be subject to successful completion of a background check.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership in community-based services in order to support the overall wellness of youth in home, school, and community settings. Must have thorough knowledge of rules, laws, and policies governing department operation and supervisory and management principles and practices. They will be a high energy, mission-oriented leader who exhibits excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and will possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, effective problem-solving skills, flexibility, and an ability to learn County policies and procedures quickly. Must also be self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work and interact with staff, clients, and members of the public in a courteous, professional manner.
