HGV Tanker - Days

About the Role:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full time basis for days on our waste water contract.

Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor

Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and have up to date digi tachograph card.

Location: Working out of Budds Farm Depot - Southampton - Covering the Hampshire Region

Hours: 4 days on 4 days off - 6am -6pm

Salary: £16.00 per hour

Responsibilities - but not limited to:

As a HGV Tanker Engineer, you will:

  • Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
  • Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
  • Communicate professionally with customers
  • Accurately complete job reports and system updates
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

  • HGV class 1 or class 2 driving licence
  • Valid in date CPC and up to date taco
  • Minimum 2 years class 1 or class 2 experience
