HGV Mechanic

Salary: £40,000 per annum - DOE
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

About the Role

As an HGV Mechanic, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of HGV vehicles. You'll diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, conduct routine inspections, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and safety of our vehicles. Your role is crucial in ensuring our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HGV vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient fleet operation

Key Requirements

• Proven 3 years experience as an HGV Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of HGV systems and components
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Valid driving license
