HGV Driver & Operator

Location: Leicester

Contract: Full Time – Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday with overtime opportunities available

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Driver & Operator to join our growing Leicester team!

You’ll play a key role in delivering essential drainage maintenance services that help keep communities and infrastructure running smoothly. Working with our specialist jetting equipment, you’ll be carrying out drainage maintenance, CCTV surveys and responding to both planned and reactive works.

What you’ll be doing

As an HGV Driver & Operator, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Operating HGV jetting units to carry out drainage cleaning and maintenance activities
  • Responding to emergency callouts and supporting planned maintenance activity
  • Conducting CCTV drainage surveys to identify defects
  • Working closely with customers, clients and colleagues to report findings and recommend solutions
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Carrying out routing vehicle and equipment checks

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, you’ll bring previous experience in a similar role, a positive attitude and a commitment to working safely, as well as:

  • A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
  • High Pressure Water Jetting certification
  • Confined Space Entry certification
  • Previous experience in drainage maintenance and jetting operations
  • Familiarity with CCTV survey equipment & software
  • Good understanding of H&S practices
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
