We’re seeking a skilled and safety-conscious HGV Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our operations team based in Portsmouth. This is a vital role supporting our transport and logistics needs across the region, ensuring timely delivery and collection of essential equipment and materials.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operating Xylem vehicles (Class 2 HGV) in a safe and professional manner

  • Carrying out deliveries and collections of pumping equipment and related machinery across customer sites

  • Using HIAB/crane equipment to safely load and unload goods

  • Ensuring vehicle checks, maintenance, and documentation are completed to required standards

  • Supporting the depot team with logistics and stock movement when required

  • Representing Xylem to our customers with a positive and professional attitude

What we’re looking for:

  • Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence

  • Valid HIAB licence/certification (preferably with experience)

  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within plant hire, utilities, or construction sectors

  • Good knowledge of load securing, manual handling, and road safety regulations

  • A flexible and reliable team player with a strong work ethic and customer focus
