Syngenta Crop Protection keeps plants safe from planting to harvesting. From the moment a seed is planted through to harvest, crops need to be protected from weeds, insects and diseases as well as droughts and floods, heat and cold.

• Operate various types of packaging equipment.
• Perform procedural tasks safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot equipment with assistance and solve problems
• Effectively use safety equipment such as respirators and protective clothing.
• Follow operator standard work to maintain packaging line Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Provide feedback and corrective actions when processes during the shift do not meet target OEE.
• Perform procedural operations safely and efficiently
• Operate forklift and various types of packaging equipment
• Work overtime and second shift hours 2:00pm - 10:00pm subject to change.
• Generate and maintain accurate records
• Maintain and improve safety, environmental and housekeeping standards.
• Work within site policies & procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Prior production, packaging or quality control experience desired.
• Packaging lines maintain at least 85% Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Participates in near miss/incident reporting and 5WHY/incident investigations.
• Lean idea generation and behavioral based safety observations are completed to promote continuous improvement in the formulation units.
• Forklift operator experience.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the US. No Relocation Benefits available.
• Must be able to wear the required PPE.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs up to 50 lbs once per day.
