Job Title: Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse

Unit: Inpatient Hematology/Oncology

Contract Length: 26–52 Weeks

Schedule: Full-Time | 3x12s | Day or Night Shift

Pay Range: $60–$70/per hour | 1099

Openings: 2 Day Shift | 2 Night Shift

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for long-term contract opportunities on an inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit in Topeka, Kansas.

This is a 21-bed unit caring for patients with hematologic and oncology diagnoses, inpatient chemotherapy needs, palliative and end-of-life care, tracheostomies, symptom management, and other complex medical conditions. Typical staffing ratios are 1:6, or 1:4 when active chemotherapy is infusing. Work Order Intake Form- CareCar

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ADN or BSN
• Minimum 1 year of acute-care nursing experience
• Oncology or Hematology experience preferred
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Epic experience preferred

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Day and night shift opportunities
• Every-other-weekend rotation
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating to other Med/Surg inpatient units may be required
• No call requirements
• Minimum 26-week commitment, with assignments available up to 52 weeks
