  • Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesia, Radiation Oncology, Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Research Coordinators, Genetic Counselors

  • Support Staff Available: Dedicated RN staff, Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Pharmacy Liaison, Research Coordinators, Genetic Counselors

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Credentialing Timeline: Up to 90 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Chemotherapy administration

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology (Board Eligible considered)

  • Licenses: Active California License (CA)

  • DEA: Active DEA Certification

  • Certifications: BLS (preferred)

  • AOther Qualifications: Completion of accredited post-graduate training program, Clean malpractice/background

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert hematology and oncology care to patients in outpatient clinic setting.

  • Utilize the co-located Solari Infusion Center for chemotherapy and infusion therapy delivery.

  • Collaborate with nurse navigators, social workers, and multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient journey.

  • Participate in weekly tumor boards and daily multidisciplinary rounds.

  • Manage a patient volume of 13-18 patients per day.
