We are searching for the best talent for Hematology Business Unit Manager (CAR-T) to be in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Purpose:
Lead the CVT (Country Value Team) to identify, plan, and deliver initiatives that generate measurable value for the brand, aligned with the strategy defined by the Value Excellence Book provided by IBVT, and tailored to local market needs.
Ensure Site Certification including commercial operation with physicians, hospital management and quality team. Responsible for leading the J&J Cell Therapy strategy in selected sites, operating as the major point of contact in the sites for set up and certification, delivering an outstanding journey experience with the customers as well as managing J&J operational areas related to CAR-T operation. The role also includes the responsibility of a CTAL (Cell Therapy Account Leader) which is in charge of hospital commercial negotiations, contracts operation, and access strategies support.
You will be responsible for
Site strategy & operations leadership: Lead CAR‑T site activation, certification, governance, act as the single commercial point of contact, ensuring seamless coordination across J&J partners and outstanding site experience.
Commercial & access enablement: Drive on‑label scientific education, commercial negotiations, contract management, access strategy (CAR-T value proposition), payer engagement, and aligned sales forecasting with sites and planning teams.
Continuous optimization & risk management: Proactively optimize site processes and infrastructure, support audits/inspections, resolve operational issues, and continuously benchmark, identify opportunities including new way of working/capabilities, and map risks to improve end‑to‑end performance.
Brand strategy & governance: Own and drive brand strategy aligned with the Value Excellence Book and local needs, leading CVT governance/forums and ensuring strong interface with field and regional governance.
Performance & planning: Set and deliver sales targets and brand objectives through robust brand planning, business reviews (QBRs), and financial cycles (LRFP, BP, Pre‑Consensus).
Stakeholder leadership: Ensure strong alignment with MAF, Marketing, Access Heads, KOLs, regional teams, and senior leadership, enabling seamless execution and cross‑functional collaboration.
Strategic decision support: Contribute to strategy and decision‑making across BME, CME, Access, pricing and commercial policies, payer value proposition, regulatory strategy, and PSP planning.
Go‑to‑market & field enablement: Shape key brand messages, field force action plans, tactical promotion and communication plans, including training and promotional materials aligned to the editorial calendar.
Launch & execution excellence: Drive commercial policy and brand launch strategy in close collaboration with Access team, ensuring disciplined execution and cross‑functional alignment.
Governance & execution: Implement CVT governance decisions, including agenda management, regular CVT/GNV alignments, and collaboration with IBVT and best‑practice forums.
Qualifications / Requirements:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and/or business (required). Hematology/Oncology or Cell therapy experience (preferred). Good understanding of healthcare environment (required). Prior experience in key account management in a healthcare environment (preferred).
Experience in healthcare industry (required).
Experience in pharmaceutical industry (highly preferred)
Leadership of Multifunctional and Complex Teams (Required)
Experience in marketing, access and sales positions.
