DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a HEMA Lead CEE located in Prague Czechia or Warsaw Poland.

The HEMA Lead CEE (Central & EasternEurope) leadsHealth Economics & Market Access strategy and execution across the Central & Eastern Europemarkets .The roleis responsible forshaping access strategy, leadingpayerand HTA engagement, and ensuring successful reimbursement and adoption of innovativeorthopaedicsolutions in line with DepuySynthesand EMEA priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the HEMA strategy for CEE,in alignment with EMEA priorities and ways of working

  • Lead clustered access strategy across heterogeneous HTA and reimbursement systems, balancing EMEA consistency with strong local adaptation.

  • Develop and deliver market access and funding strategies to enable adoption and sustainable growth.

  • Build andmaintainstrategic relationships with payers, HTA bodies, institutional decision-makersand relevant authorities to shape the external environment and advance value-based adoption.

  • Lead EMEA-aligned evidence generation and value creation activities (and translate insights into local value messages,toolsand materials.

  • Partner cross-functionallywith Marketing, Sales, Medical/Clinical and Regulatory teams to develop and execute market access and reimbursement strategies across the product lifecycle.

  • Ensure effective deployment of health economic tools, valueassetsand training to enable internal stakeholders and strengthen field activation.

  • Monitor execution against HEMA priorities and businessobjectives, ensuring alignment to agreed plans,milestonesand governance expectations.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality,ethicsand local regulatory requirements, consistent with EMEA HEMA standards.

Scope & Impact

Strategic responsibility for HEMA outcomes across the Central & Eastern Europe (multi-HTA & reimbursement environments) scope, with high autonomy and material impact on market access success, innovationadoptionand revenue sustainability.

Qualifications

Advanced degree (Master’sor PhD preferred) in Health Economics, Public Health, LifeSciencesor related field.
7+ years of experience in HEMA or Market Access roles, including leadership of complex national or multi-country strategies.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and external decision-makers.

External Engagement Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate external engagement activities across the CEE cluster, including interactions with HTA bodies, payers, institutions, and relevant external stakeholders, ensuring consistent and strategic HEMA representation across diverse markets.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

Kč1,641,000.00 - Kč2,830,150.00
