Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled Support Technician I to join our growing IT support team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues and provide exceptional support to ensure their technology environments operate efficiently, securely, and reliably.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent troubleshooting skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position will provide both remote and occasional on-site technical support for a variety of hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote support tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
• Diagnose technical problems using critical thinking and effective troubleshooting methodologies.
• Research solutions, perform testing, and implement fixes to restore service quickly and efficiently.
• Utilize remote access tools to assist with software installations, updates, configurations, and issue resolution.
• Provide occasional on-site technical support when issues cannot be resolved remotely, including support for remote clients when necessary.

Required Skills

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and common business applications.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to document technical issues and resolutions accurately.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cockeysville, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
