Job Description

Empowering careers at ARJO

At Arjo, we know what moves us. We go above and beyond for people facing mobility challenges. We take every opportunity to work and grow as one team and take pride in sharing our knowledge and experience. Does that sound like something that moves you too?

This could be your opportunity to begin a challenging and rewarding career in a healthcare company that empowers movement for people with mobility challenges.

As Arjo is entering a new corporate strategy cycle, we are looking for a new member of the Corporate Strategy & Development team to help shape the next phase of our strategic journey. Working closely with the Executive Management Team, you will contribute to refining strategic priorities, translating them into actionable initiatives, and supporting successful execution across the organization.

About the Role

You will join a small Corporate Strategy team with a broad mandate and exposure across the organization. The role combines strategic analysis, project leadership, and executive management and Board support, partnering closely with senior leaders to drive strategic priorities across Arjo.

The primary focus of the team is to help shape, develop, and execute Arjo’s strategic agenda, with M&A forming an additional part of the teams work. You will work across the full strategy lifecycle, from analyzing business opportunities and developing strategic initiatives to support implementation, governance, and long-term value creation.

The role is based in Malmö with a hybrid working model and approximately 10–20 travel days per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and shape strategic initiatives from concept and business case through implementation
  • Support executive decision-making through business, market, and financial analysis
  • Partner with regional leadership teams to support strategy execution and drive alignment
  • Develop business cases, implementation plans, and governance for strategic initiatives
  • Monitor strategic progress and identify opportunities to improve execution
  • Drive key projects requested by Executive Management
  • Contribute to M&A activities, including strategic assessments, commercial due diligence, and post-acquisition value creation when relevant

About You

Success in this role requires someone who enjoys moving between strategic thinking and practical execution. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, building trust across a wide range of stakeholders, and influencing decisions in a global organization.

You combine strong analytical capabilities with a pragmatic mindset. While data is an important foundation, you are equally comfortable using sound judgement to move initiatives forward when information is incomplete.

Working in a small team means shifting between different topics and priorities. You enjoy that variety and are motivated by solving complex business challenges that have a visible impact across the organization.

Experience & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will likely bring experience in several of the following:

  • Around 5-7, or more, years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Management Consulting, or a similar strategic role
  • Experience developing strategic recommendations from structured analysis through executive alignment and decision-making
  • Strong business, market, and financial analysis capabilities
  • Experience supporting transformation or change initiatives
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluency in English

Additional experience that would be valuable:

  • M&A or Commercial Due Diligence
  • Experience from MedTech or another international manufacturing company ideally with capital sales, installed base and service business logic.
