
Air Liquide is searching for a versatile Production Operative to join our Eynsham site and manage the end-to-end processing and distribution of helium. This is a hands-on role that blends production, laboratory testing, and delivery to customer sites, so a valid HGV Class 2 license is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Production & Filling: Helium tank decanting and the filling of Gas cylinders and cryogenic helium into dewers
Laboratory Testing: Testing of helium using Helium Gas chromatograph
Logistics & Delivery: Responsible for the safe delivery of gas products to our customer base.
Operations & Planning: Manage stock levels, input data into SAP, and plan filling schedules to minimize product loss.
Site Maintenance: Utilize forklifts for yard work (training provided) and maintain a safe, hazard-free working environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV driver to diversify their skillset and transition into a technical production role. You will need:
License: Valid HGV Class 2 license (Essential).
Technical Aptitude: A mechanical background or a strong technical mindset, with strong problem solving skills.
Safety Driven: Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage your own workload effectively.
