Job Summary

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking Heavy Packager to join our automotive parts team! In this hands-on role, you’ll package bulk automotive parts according to customer specifications and established quality standards. This is a physically active position that’s a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with their hands, and taking pride in getting the job done right.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, adaptable, and safety-minded, with the ability to accurately identify parts, follow work orders, and recognize damaged or non-conforming materials. You’ll spend much of your shift standing, lifting, bending, and pulling, including regularly handling parts weighing 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Package bulk automotive parts and materials according to customer specifications
• Complete packaging tasks according to established standards and requirements
• Accurately identify parts by number and verify materials before packaging
• Inspect parts and materials for damage or non-conforming stock
• Safely lift and move parts weighing approximately 50 or more pounds
• Perform repetitive lifting, bending, pulling, and standing throughout the shift
• Keep assigned work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Read and follow work orders and packaging instructions
• Work as part of a team to meet productivity and quality expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to accurately identify parts by number
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to recognize damaged or non-conforming materials
• Basic math and counting skills
• Ability to read and understand work orders in English
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the position, including repetitive lifting 50 or more pounds and repetitive bending, pulling, and standing
