Heavy Packager
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay: $18 hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 7a-3p
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Heavy Packager to package bulk automotive parts according to customer specifications and quality standards. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting of parts weighing 30–50 lbs., along with repetitive bending, pulling, and standing throughout the shift. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can accurately identify parts by number, recognize damaged or non-conforming materials, and read and follow work orders in English. A commitment to safety, productivity, quality, and maintaining a clean work area is essential.
Responsibilities
• Package all materials related to consigned parts.
• Complete packaging tasks as per quoted standards.
• Pack bulk auto parts.
• Perform constant lifting of parts weighing between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned work areas.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Engage in repetitive lifting, bending, and pulling.
• To include any other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to identify parts by number.
• Ability to detect damaged or non-conforming stock.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand work orders in English.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including constant lifting, bending, and pulling.
